Medical - Dental Unit
The Medical Dental Unit is the campus’ healthcare facility that is primarily focused on health promotion and provision of curative and preventive health services to the academe. MDU accommodates more or less 7,727 population which forms part of the students, faculty and personnel. The unit is composed of one (1) physician, two (2) registered nurses and one (1) dental aide. At present, the dental health needs of the students are still addressed by the outsourced Dentist.
Our goal is to provide health services with appropriate health facilities, equipment and supplies to meet the immediate needs of the academic community within official class hours.

MEDICAL SERVICES OFFERED:
Free E-consultation or health query through our FB Page: USTP-Medical Dental Unit
Free daily medical consultation and treatment for students and employees
Annual check-up/ Physical examination for incoming freshmen
Issuance of medical certificate as requirement for: scholarships, interschool competitions, OJT, ROTC etc.
Free initial dose of medicines (as availability permits) for common ailments
Issuance of medical certificate for home confinement, bed rest etc.
First Aid treatment equipped with oxygen and nebulizer e.g. asthma attacks
Wound dressing and referrals
Three (3) bed capacity area in case patient is advised to an hour rest
Other medical services: blood sugar determination, BP check, suture removal, etc.

Saturday – 8:00am to 12:00pm; 1:00pm to 5:00 pm
